Well, I havn't updated recently cause there hasn't been much news in the entertainment part of my life. I did, however just go to the Disturbed, Mudvayne, Spineshank, and Nothingface show. It was awesome, as expected! Sadly, Nothingface went on BEFORE the ticket time of 8:00, so I only saw their last two songs. That's one of the four that I really wanted to see too cause they are one of the best bands to see live... their energy is just exhilerating. Spineshank wasn't that great live, just as it was last time. Their newest cd is awesome but they seem so greasy live. Especially the lead singer, who, before every hard part of a song yells, "Fuck it up!" One time, during a longer rest he extended it to "Fuck this place up!" Also, he always asks where the pot smokers are and, of course, almost EVERYONE screams and raises their hands when there is NO WAY that all of them smoke pot. Little kids would even raise there hands just to not be left out... it was sad. Also, their music just doesn't sound that great live. But, I wasn't expecting much from them as they weren't that great the first time I saw them either. Now, Mudvayne is another thing altogether. They are just amazing both live and on their album. Just totally energetic with awesome music to accompany their enthusiasm. (Having painted faces doesn't hurt much either.) Both times I've seen this band, I have NOT been disappointed. Then, finally, was Disturbed. I like this band pretty well and they were good live, though not as good as Mudvayne. Sadly, they didn't do their Faith No More cover, btu Pantera instead. But, all in all, it was a fun show and worth the money. While up in Portland, I also got my ticket for the Toadies ticket at the Crystal Ballroom. Now, THAT will be awesome! Oh, and please sign my guestbook if you have time... it's to the left, under where it says "Pity Page" then click either "Sign" or "view." I just want some feedback and see who's visiting. Though not many people come here, I know there are some, or my counter just pities me and goes up once in awhile.
